STANDING ORDER

To

All District Sports Officers,

Subject: The officiating at competitions by registered match officials under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974 (Telangana Act 2 of 1974), the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the officiating at competitions by registered match officials.

2. The matter has been examined. Every registered match official carrying on the officiating at competitions shall make an application in Form B to the Sports Tribunal within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. The District Sports Officer shall ensure that federation is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Sports Tribunal within twenty-one days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Telangana.
