STANDING ORDER

To

All Incident Commanders,

Subject: The operation of an early warning system by operators of an early warning system under the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2007, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2007 (Maharashtra Act 3 of 2007), the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Maharashtra hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the operation of an early warning system by operators of an early warning system.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of an early warning system carrying on the operation of an early warning system shall make an application in Form G to the State Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Incident Commander shall ensure that no-objection certificate is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the State Authority within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Maharashtra.
