STANDING ORDER

To

All Village Accountants,

Subject: The survey of land by licensed surveyors under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Social Welfare Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the survey of land by licensed surveyors.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall make an application in Form 2 to the Collector within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Village Accountant shall ensure that mutation is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Collector within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Social Welfare Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
