STANDING ORDER

To

All Inspectors of Schools,

Subject: The running of a pre-school by operators of a pre-school under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009 (Gujarat Act 8 of 2009), the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a pre-school by operators of a pre-school.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a pre-school carrying on the running of a pre-school shall make an application in Form B to the Commission within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. The Inspector of Schools shall ensure that fee receipt is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Commission within twenty-one days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Gujarat.
