STANDING ORDER

To

All District Collectors,

Subject: The operation of a critical facility by operators of a critical facility under the Uttar Pradesh Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Act, 2005, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Act, 2005 (Uttar Pradesh Act 9 of 2005), the Information Technology Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the operation of a critical facility by operators of a critical facility.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a critical facility carrying on the operation of a critical facility shall make an application in Form E to the National Executive Committee within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The District Collector shall ensure that stock is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the National Executive Committee within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
