STANDING ORDER

To

All Licensing Officers,

Subject: The running of a private market by operators of a private market under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973 (Uttar Pradesh Act 11 of 1973), the Information Technology Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a private market by operators of a private market.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a private market carrying on the running of a private market shall make an application in Form D to the Town Vending Committee within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Licensing Officer shall ensure that notice of demolition is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Town Vending Committee within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
