STANDING ORDER

To

All Doping Control Officers,

Subject: The manufacture of sports goods by sports goods manufacturers under the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976 (Goa Act 14 of 1976), the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Goa hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the manufacture of sports goods by sports goods manufacturers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sports goods manufacturer carrying on the manufacture of sports goods shall make an application in Form A to the Government of Goa within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand five hundred rupees.

3. The Doping Control Officer shall ensure that code of conduct is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Goa within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Goa.
