STANDING ORDER

To

All Regionals Officer of the Board,

Subject: The business of an advertising agency by advertising agencies under the Tamil Nadu Exhibition of Films on Television Screen through Video Cassette Recorders (Regulation) Act, 1984, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Tamil Nadu Exhibition of Films on Television Screen through Video Cassette Recorders (Regulation) Act, 1984 (Tamil Nadu Act 7 of 1984), the General Administration Department, Government of Tamil Nadu hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the business of an advertising agency by advertising agencies.

2. The matter has been examined. Every advertising agency carrying on the business of an advertising agency shall make an application in Form I to the Appellate Tribunal within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Regional Officer of the Board shall ensure that certificate is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Appellate Tribunal within one hundred and twenty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
