STANDING ORDER

To

All Assistant Directors,

Subject: The sponsoring of a competition by sponsors of a competition under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974 (Telangana Act 2 of 1974), the Home Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the sponsoring of a competition by sponsors of a competition.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sponsor of a competition carrying on the sponsoring of a competition shall make an application in Form F to the National Sports Board within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand five hundred rupees.

3. The Assistant Director shall ensure that sample is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the National Sports Board within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Telangana.
