STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputy Collectors,

Subject: The operation of a critical facility by operators of a critical facility under the Uttar Pradesh Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Act, 2005, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Act, 2005 (Uttar Pradesh Act 9 of 2005), the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the operation of a critical facility by operators of a critical facility.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a critical facility carrying on the operation of a critical facility shall make an application in Form B to the Civil Defence Controller within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Deputy Collector shall ensure that register of shelters is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Civil Defence Controller within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
