STANDING ORDER

To

All Survey Commissioners,

Subject: The keeping of a dharamshala by keepers of a dharamshala under the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987 (Andhra Pradesh Act 30 of 1987), the Transport Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the keeping of a dharamshala by keepers of a dharamshala.

2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of a dharamshala carrying on the keeping of a dharamshala shall make an application in Form E to the Government of Andhra Pradesh within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. The Survey Commissioner shall ensure that audit report is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Andhra Pradesh within one hundred and twenty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
