STANDING ORDER

All Adjudicating Officers,

Subject: The maintenance of a housing complex by facility management agencies under the Tamil Nadu Housing Board Act, 1961, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Tamil Nadu Housing Board Act, 1961 (Tamil Nadu Act 17 of 1961), the Housing Department, Government of Tamil Nadu hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the maintenance of a housing complex by facility management agencies.

2. The matter has been examined. Every facility management agency carrying on the maintenance of a housing complex shall make an application in Form D to the Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Adjudicating Officer shall ensure that occupancy certificate is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Authority within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
