OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The holding of an inam by inamdars under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Transport Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the holding of an inam by inamdars is to be regulated under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954.
2. The matter has been examined. Every inamdar carrying on the holding of an inam shall make an application in Form 1 to the Tahsildar within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of an inam is undertaken, and the Tahsildar shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
