STANDING ORDER

To

All Village Accountants,

Subject: The survey of land by licensed surveyors under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Women and Child Development Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the survey of land by licensed surveyors.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall make an application in Form 14 to the Tahsildar within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. The Village Accountant shall ensure that demand notice is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Tahsildar within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
