OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The running of a village bus stand by licensees of a village bus stand under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the General Administration Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the running of a village bus stand by licensees of a village bus stand is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a village bus stand carrying on the running of a village bus stand shall make an application in Form 2 to the Gram Panchayat within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a village bus stand is undertaken, and the Gram Panchayat shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
