OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The sale of insecticides by dealers in insecticides under the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1987, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Information Technology Department, Government of Tamil Nadu on the manner in which the sale of insecticides by dealers in insecticides is to be regulated under the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1987.
2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer in insecticides carrying on the sale of insecticides shall make an application in Form F to the Seed Certification Agency within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sale of insecticides is undertaken, and the Seed Certification Agency shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
