OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use by person converting agricultural lands under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use by person converting agricultural lands is to be regulated under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954.
2. The matter has been examined. Every person converting agricultural land carrying on the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use shall make an application in Form 7 to the Tahsildar within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use is undertaken, and the Tahsildar shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
