STANDING ORDER

To

All Incident Commanders,

Subject: The operation of a critical facility by operators of a critical facility under the Kerala Fire Force Act, 1962, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Kerala Fire Force Act, 1962 (Kerala Act 20 of 1962), the General Administration Department, Government of Kerala hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the operation of a critical facility by operators of a critical facility.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a critical facility carrying on the operation of a critical facility shall make an application in Form F to the Director of Fire Services within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Incident Commander shall ensure that register of shelters is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Director of Fire Services within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Kerala.
