OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The holding of a mass gathering by organisers of a mass gathering under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Home Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the holding of a mass gathering by organisers of a mass gathering is to be regulated under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009.

2. The matter has been examined. Every organiser of a mass gathering carrying on the holding of a mass gathering shall make an application in Form A to the National Executive Committee within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of a mass gathering is undertaken, and the National Executive Committee shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
