OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The running of a parking lot by operators of a parking lot under the Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Gujarat on the manner in which the running of a parking lot by operators of a parking lot is to be regulated under the Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a parking lot carrying on the running of a parking lot shall make an application in Form H to the Town Planning Authority within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a parking lot is undertaken, and the Town Planning Authority shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Gujarat.
