STANDING ORDER

All Insecticide Inspectors,

Subject: The sale of fertilisers by dealers in fertilisers under the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969 (Kerala Act 21 of 1969), the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Kerala hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the sale of fertilisers by dealers in fertilisers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer in fertilisers carrying on the sale of fertilisers shall make an application in Form C to the Seed Certification Agency within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Insecticide Inspector shall ensure that market fee receipt is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Seed Certification Agency within one hundred and twenty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Kerala.
