STANDING ORDER

To

All Adjudicating Officers,

Subject: The holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land under the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960 (Andhra Pradesh Act 15 of 1960), the General Administration Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall make an application in Form E to the Authority within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Adjudicating Officer shall ensure that tenancy agreement is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Authority within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
