OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The holding of land by landholders under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Transport Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the holding of land by landholders is to be regulated under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954.

2. The matter has been examined. Every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall make an application in Form 1 to the Land Tribunal within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land is undertaken, and the Land Tribunal shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
