STANDING ORDER
To
All Sub-Registrars,
Subject: The collection of stamp duty by authorised collection centres under the Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1999, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1999 (Rajasthan Act 14 of 1999), the Home Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the collection of stamp duty by authorised collection centres.
2. The matter has been examined. Every authorised collection centre carrying on the collection of stamp duty shall make an application in Form B to the Stamp Revenue Board within seven days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.
3. The Sub-Registrar shall ensure that franking impression is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Stamp Revenue Board within seven days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Rajasthan.
