OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The collection of donations for a charity by collectors of donations under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh on the manner in which the collection of donations for a charity by collectors of donations is to be regulated under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951.

2. The matter has been examined. Every collector of donations carrying on the collection of donations for a charity shall make an application in Form A to the Commissioner of Endowments within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the collection of donations for a charity is undertaken, and the Commissioner of Endowments shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
