STANDING ORDER

To

All Court Officers,

Subject: The sale of court fee stamps by stamp vendors under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954 (Uttar Pradesh Act 24 of 1954), the Education Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the sale of court fee stamps by stamp vendors.

2. The matter has been examined. Every stamp vendor carrying on the sale of court fee stamps shall make an application in Form D to the Registrar General within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. The Court Officer shall ensure that certified copy is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Registrar General within one hundred and twenty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Education Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
