OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Enrolment as a cadet by cadets under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which enrolment as a cadet by cadets is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986.

2. The matter has been examined. Every cadet carrying on enrolment as a cadet shall make an application in Form C to the Station Commander within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which enrolment as a cadet is undertaken, and the Station Commander shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
