OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The representation of athletes by sports agents under the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Goa on the manner in which the representation of athletes by sports agents is to be regulated under the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sports agent carrying on the representation of athletes shall make an application in Form A to the Disciplinary Panel within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the representation of athletes is undertaken, and the Disciplinary Panel shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Goa.
