STANDING ORDER
To
All Village Accountants,
Subject: The cultivation of land as a sharecropper by sharecroppers under the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956 (Rajasthan Act 15 of 1956), the Ports Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the cultivation of land as a sharecropper by sharecroppers.
2. The matter has been examined. Every sharecropper carrying on the cultivation of land as a sharecropper shall make an application in Form 5 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. The Village Accountant shall ensure that demand notice is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Revenue Divisional Officer within fifteen days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Ports Department, Government of Rajasthan.
