STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputy Press Registrars,

Subject: The operation of a community radio station by community radio stations under the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955 (Andhra Pradesh Act 4 of 1955), the Home Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the operation of a community radio station by community radio stations.

2. The matter has been examined. Every community radio station carrying on the operation of a community radio station shall make an application in Form VIII to the Board of Film Certification within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Deputy Press Registrar shall ensure that copy of a book is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Board of Film Certification within twenty-one days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
