OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The running of a common service centre by operators of a common service centre under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Transport Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the running of a common service centre by operators of a common service centre is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a common service centre carrying on the running of a common service centre shall make an application in Form 6 to the Block Development Officer within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a common service centre is undertaken, and the Block Development Officer shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
