OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The sale of liquor for consumption on the premises by bar licensees under the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Urban Development Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the sale of liquor for consumption on the premises by bar licensees is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968.

2. The matter has been examined. Every bar licensee carrying on the sale of liquor for consumption on the premises shall make an application in Form G to the Collector within seven days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sale of liquor for consumption on the premises is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Urban Development Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
