OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The operation of a critical facility by operators of a critical facility under the Tamil Nadu Fire Service Act, 1985, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Tamil Nadu on the manner in which the operation of a critical facility by operators of a critical facility is to be regulated under the Tamil Nadu Fire Service Act, 1985.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a critical facility carrying on the operation of a critical facility shall make an application in Form H to the National Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a critical facility is undertaken, and the National Authority shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
