STANDING ORDER

To

All Cyber Security Officers,

Subject: The provision of cloud computing services by cloud service providers under the Kerala Police Act, 2011, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Kerala Police Act, 2011 (Kerala Act 8 of 2011), the Finance Department, Government of Kerala hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the provision of cloud computing services by cloud service providers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every cloud service provider carrying on the provision of cloud computing services shall make an application in Form D to the Cyber Appellate Tribunal within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees.

3. The Cyber Security Officer shall ensure that log is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Cyber Appellate Tribunal within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Kerala.
