OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The grazing of cattle on Government waste land by graziers on Government waste land under the Odisha Land Reforms Act, 1960, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the General Administration Department, Government of Odisha on the manner in which the grazing of cattle on Government waste land by graziers on Government waste land is to be regulated under the Odisha Land Reforms Act, 1960.

2. The matter has been examined. Every grazier on Government waste land carrying on the grazing of cattle on Government waste land shall make an application in Form 12 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the grazing of cattle on Government waste land is undertaken, and the Revenue Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Odisha.
