STANDING ORDER

To

All Authorised Officers,

Subject: The exhibition of films by exhibitors under the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955 (Andhra Pradesh Act 4 of 1955), the General Administration Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the exhibition of films by exhibitors.

2. The matter has been examined. Every exhibitor carrying on the exhibition of films shall make an application in Form IV to the Press Council within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Authorised Officer shall ensure that certificate is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Press Council within twenty-one days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
