OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The operation of a cruise vessel by operators of a cruise vessel under the Gujarat Maritime Board Act, 1981, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Gujarat on the manner in which the operation of a cruise vessel by operators of a cruise vessel is to be regulated under the Gujarat Maritime Board Act, 1981.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a cruise vessel carrying on the operation of a cruise vessel shall make an application in Form 4 to the Director-General within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a cruise vessel is undertaken, and the Director-General shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Gujarat.
