OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use by person converting agricultural lands under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 2020, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Revenue Department, Government of Telangana on the manner in which the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use by person converting agricultural lands is to be regulated under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 2020.
2. The matter has been examined. Every person converting agricultural land carrying on the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use shall make an application in Form 14 to the Collector within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Telangana.
