OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The administration of an estate by administrators of an estate under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Uttarakhand on the manner in which the administration of an estate by administrators of an estate is to be regulated under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024.

2. The matter has been examined. Every administrator of an estate carrying on the administration of an estate shall make an application in Form II to the Government of Uttarakhand within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the administration of an estate is undertaken, and the Government of Uttarakhand shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
