OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The implementation of a scheme by implementing agencies under the Karnataka Transparency in Public Procurements Act, 1999, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka on the manner in which the implementation of a scheme by implementing agencies is to be regulated under the Karnataka Transparency in Public Procurements Act, 1999.

2. The matter has been examined. Every implementing agency carrying on the implementation of a scheme shall make an application in Form GFR 25 to the Controller General of Accounts within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the implementation of a scheme is undertaken, and the Controller General of Accounts shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.
