OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The holding of a Government guarantee by guarantee holders under the Rajasthan Transparency in Public Procurement Act, 2012, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Agriculture Department, Government of Rajasthan on the manner in which the holding of a Government guarantee by guarantee holders is to be regulated under the Rajasthan Transparency in Public Procurement Act, 2012.

2. The matter has been examined. Every guarantee holder carrying on the holding of a Government guarantee shall make an application in Form GFR 21 to the Public Accounts Committee within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of a Government guarantee is undertaken, and the Public Accounts Committee shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Rajasthan.
