OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The purchase of an apartment by allottees under the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the purchase of an apartment by allottees is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960.

2. The matter has been examined. Every allottee carrying on the purchase of an apartment shall make an application in Form B to the Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the purchase of an apartment is undertaken, and the Authority shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
