OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The supply of mid-day meals by contractors for the mid-day meal under the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Law Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the supply of mid-day meals by contractors for the mid-day meal is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for the mid-day meal carrying on the supply of mid-day meals shall make an application in Form B to the Board of Secondary Education within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the supply of mid-day meals is undertaken, and the Board of Secondary Education shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
