STANDING ORDER

To

All Emergency Officers,

Subject: The holding of a mass gathering by organisers of a mass gathering under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of a mass gathering by organisers of a mass gathering.

2. The matter has been examined. Every organiser of a mass gathering carrying on the holding of a mass gathering shall make an application in Form F to the Relief Commissioner within one day, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Emergency Officer shall ensure that plan is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Relief Commissioner within one day.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
