STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputy Directors,

Subject: The governance of a sport by national sports federations under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974 (Telangana Act 2 of 1974), the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the governance of a sport by national sports federations.

2. The matter has been examined. Every national sports federation carrying on the governance of a sport shall make an application in Form C to the Disciplinary Panel within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Deputy Director shall ensure that anti-doping form is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Disciplinary Panel within twenty-one days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Telangana.
