STANDING ORDER

To

All Sub-Inspectors of Excise,

Subject: The keeping of a bonded warehouse by bonded warehouse keepers under the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915 (Madhya Pradesh Act 2 of 1915), the Revenue Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the keeping of a bonded warehouse by bonded warehouse keepers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every bonded warehouse keeper carrying on the keeping of a bonded warehouse shall make an application in Form B to the Licensing Authority within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees.

3. The Sub-Inspector of Excise shall ensure that label is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Licensing Authority within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
