STANDING ORDER

To

All Excise Superintendents,

Subject: The manufacture of denatured spirit by manufacturers of denatured spirit under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Excise Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 10 of 2009), the Ports Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the manufacture of denatured spirit by manufacturers of denatured spirit.

2. The matter has been examined. Every manufacturer of denatured spirit carrying on the manufacture of denatured spirit shall make an application in Form D to the Excise Commissioner within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Excise Superintendent shall ensure that stock register is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Excise Commissioner within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Ports Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
