STANDING ORDER

All Gram Sevaks,

Subject: The running of a village bus stand by licensees of a village bus stand under the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 (Rajasthan Act 13 of 1994), the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a village bus stand by licensees of a village bus stand.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a village bus stand carrying on the running of a village bus stand shall make an application in Form 5 to the District Collector within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Gram Sevak shall ensure that muster roll is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the District Collector within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Rajasthan.
