STANDING ORDER

To

All Compliance Officers,

Subject: The manufacture of sports goods by sports goods manufacturers under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974 (Telangana Act 2 of 1974), the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the manufacture of sports goods by sports goods manufacturers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sports goods manufacturer carrying on the manufacture of sports goods shall make an application in Form C to the Sports Authority within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand five hundred rupees.

3. The Compliance Officer shall ensure that competition is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Sports Authority within fourteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Telangana.
