STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputies Director of Education,

Subject: The running of a pre-school by operators of a pre-school under the Maharashtra Universities Act, 2016, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Maharashtra Universities Act, 2016 (Maharashtra Act 6 of 2016), the Education Department, Government of Maharashtra hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a pre-school by operators of a pre-school.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a pre-school carrying on the running of a pre-school shall make an application in Form G to the Regulatory Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Deputy Director of Education shall ensure that recognition is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Regulatory Authority within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Education Department, Government of Maharashtra.
